Glass Microfiber Filters are for increased throughputs, their major use is as depth prefilter, placed directly on top of a membrane filter.
The standard Glass Microfiber Filter contains a binder. It has a high particle loading capacity, but for very “dirty” liquids the thicker type can be more effective. These papers are made from glass microfiber 100% borosilicate with or without binder. Papers in glass microfiber allow at the same moment a fast filtration and a big keeping back of particles and for a use very high-temperature (380°C). Adapted for microfiltration. Chemical compatibility with many solvents and with reagents.
