        The inverted bucket stream traps have a bucket that is attached by a lever with the trap. The lever is responsible for sensing the bucket’s motion and close and open the trap valve in accordance with it. When the inverted bucket is surrounded by the condensate on the outside and air or steam flow from the bottom, the bucket becomes buoyant and rises due to the steam.
